17/09/2003 Zamro receives Overall Winner of the Citipower Business Excellence Award Hugo Armstrong, Corporate Affairs Manager of Citipower, presents Carmelo Zampaglione, CEO of Zamro International Pty Ltd with the top business award in Port Phillip. In selecting Zamro as overall winner, Port Phillip Excellence Awards judges commented "Zamro represents a true business ahead of its time. Zamro International Pty Ltd was started in 1998 by Carmelo Zampaglione and Rocco Arico and in it's short but impressive history has won a number of Premium A list clients including Ericsson, Nokia, Nortel, Lucent, NEC, Telstra, Optus and Vodaphone.

Zamro comprises three key business segments in the Telecommunications industry: IT&T search, Strategic Consulting and Systems Design and Integration.

Zamro is a technology driven company and is poised to take advantage of the adoption of new technology in the telecommunications industry. They are a key player in the Hutchison 3G rollout and are well placed to participate in 3G rollouts when other carriers adopt the technology
